MOXA CP-204J, which uses a lot less cabling than other systems, is specifically designed for embedded systems, PC-based machines, and other space-critical applications. Unlike the fan-out cable or external connection box used by most other products, the CP-204J multiport serial board, with its built-in RJ45 bracket design, not only saves cable layout space, but also reduces cost. This makes it ideally suited for PC-based embedded system applications such as POS, Kiosk, and ATM.

Other outstanding features of the CP-204J multiport serial board, such as its state-of-the-art ASIC design, on-board RISC processor (TI TMS320) and large I/O buffer (512 KB), make it possible for CP-204J to use minimal system resources. This makes it suitable for applications that involve fast response transactions, as well as applications that must provide reliable 24-hour service.
